Film Synopsis:
Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1993. A passenger train is stopped by paramilitary forces in an ethnic cleansing operation. As they haul off innocent civilians, only one man out of 500 passengers dares to stand up to them. This is the story of a man who could not remain silent. Based on true events.
Director's Biography
Born in 1973 in Zagreb, Croatia, Nebojša Slijepčević graduated in Film Directing from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. His documentary Srbenka (2018) was shortlisted for the European Film Awards and won the Heart of Sarajevo. His earlier documentary Gangster of Love (2013) was a box office hit in Croatia. He has also directed many acclaimed TV and short films and teaches at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb.
